Dedicated to the musical education of our students, we constantly explore "fun" ways to motivate our students.

Jude Kudera - Piano, Organ, and Theory

Jude Kudera is a senior instructor and one of the founders (along with John and Gwen Lummen) of the John Lummen School of Music.  Jude currently holds the position of organist and choir director at Westminster United Church. He also fills his time by teaching mathematics, science and music at Glenn Arbour Academy.

Julie Prime -  Piano and Theory

Julie is a senior instructor and has been teaching in the Niagara area for over 30 years, both full time and part time.  Julie is a graduate of Brock University’s music program.

Lynn Black - Receptionist

Lynn recently joined our reception team here at JLSM.

Belinda Brown - Voice and Piano

Belinda recently joined our teaching staff but has been part of the JLSM family for quite some time as a student.  She continues to study piano (with Jude Kudera) and is very active in her high school vocal and instrumental program.  She has rejuvenated our vocal program with her enthusiasm and dedication.

Rebecca Burtnik m - Receptionist

Rebecca is another recent addition to our staff but she too has been part of our JLSM family for a while as a student.  She continues to study piano with Julie Prime and guitar with Jonathan Reeves.

Stephen Kohut -  Piano

Stephen is an intermediate instructor.  He studied piano and theory with Jude Kudera at JLSM and was part of many winning ensembles during his time as a student.  Stephen is currently a third year student at Brock University.

Jake Robins -  Percussion

Jeff O’Neil - Guitar

After teaching abroad in England for a year, former JLSM student Jeff has returned to help us out with our ever increasingly popular guitar program.  Jeff is also a music and P.E. teacher with the Niagara Catholic District School Board.  Welcome back Jeff! 

Jordan Phelan -  Guitar

Jonathan Reeves -  Guitar and Theory

Rachel Willms -  Piano

Rachel is one of our intermediate piano teachers.  She is currently pursuing a music degree at Brock University.  She is involved with many children’s programs at  her church and at the Y.M.C.A.

Amanda Salomons -  Flute and Theory

Amanda is a senior flute instructor.  She is a graduate of Brock University’s music program.  Amanda also teaches full-time with the District School Board of Niagara at Gainsborough Public School in St. Ann’s.

Leland Stewart -  Guitar, Piano and Drums

Leland (a.k.a. “Lee”) studied with John Lummen and Jude Kudera at JLSM.  He is continuing his music studies at Brock University.
